Holiday Fair 2023 – Update
We are pleased to announce that our holiday fair was very successful this year! The prospect of having a fair after a three-year absence because of Covid; had many of us wondering if the event would even be feasible. But the church “elves” pulled everything together. A wide assortment of holiday goodies were
supervised as follows:
Crafts and jewelry, Janet Holden and Sandra Fawn; fundraiser for Wheeler Memorial Library; book
sales by local author and illustrator Elizabeth Lindgren; gifts, Lisa Richards; and door prize and raffles, Keri Kilhart.
Childrens’ dollar gifts table, Cara Deane; gently used Christmas items, Sharon Hatstat; plants, swags and
wooden Christmas trees, Sally Davis; and a Christmas star-making demonstration; Heidi Strickland and Krissy Dorn.
Food table, Janice Lanou, Karen Herk and Donna Sweeney; and center “chance” table, Peter and
Elaine Guertin..
The kitchen crew consisted of Jay and Donn Deane, Anita Henry, and Stash and Janice Nowicki.
Waitresses for the lunch were Abigail Daly, Autumn and Charlie (Jimmy Lee Johnson’s girls.)
We were all very tired but satisfied at the end of the day!
Thanks to all for participating and attending!
